1/32 Albatros D.V/a Spinner for Axial Prop
This part is specifically designed to replace the WNW Albatros D.V/D.Va spinner, which in some people’s eyes (ours included) is a little too long and bulbous. However the shape is a highly elusive thing and there was undoubtedly a degree of variation; we have done our best to capture what we feel is the authentic shape, but submit ours may be in error as well! According to Dr. Glen Merrill, Albatros spinners were carefully fitted to each specific propeller type and thus not interchangeable. Therefore this spinner has been designed to closely fit the WNW Axial Propeller and will not fit any other propeller in the kit. (Stay tuned for spinners fitting Wolff, Heine and Niendorf propellers.) It will also not fit the laminated wooden propellor offered by Proper Plane.
