1/32 Macchi Oil Cooler & (Optional) Lower Cowling
A highly detailed “See Through” Oil cooler for the Italeri Macchi C.202 in 1/32 scale.
The kit incorrectly depicts the cooler as being mounted to the cowling. In reality it was suspended from the rocker covers of the DB.601 / RA 1000 and protruded through a hole in the lower cowling. The socket for the electric starter was part of the oil cooler mounting complex.
Our oil cooler has separate front and rear ducts, and the mesh is so finely printed you can see through it. The kit photoetch flap can be used without modification.
The lower cowling is optional and comes in two flavors — with or without latches integrated into the part. If you are displaying your model with the lower cowl removed (or a just a masochist) choose the version with separate latches.
