1/32 Pfalz D.III/a & D.XIII Wheels
Tireless wheel depicting the fabric covered wheels with round opening for filler access as seen on Pfalz D.III, D.IIIa, D.XII and perhaps others. Unlike the WNW offering, the spoke and filler detail is not embossed into the inner half of the wheel, in favor of letting the modeler furnish their own, more to scale detail in this regard.
Originally conceived to pair with Fat Otto's natural rubber O-rings (sadly, probably NLA) these wheels will work with 0-rings from the hardware store, or my 760x100 German Aircraft tires in either weighted or unweighted form. Each wheel is in two parts, so the 4-part set builds up to two wheels.
